amCharts 5 is a JavaScript and TypeScript library for interactive charts and maps: XY, pie, maps, stock, Gantt, Sankey and other flow charts, treemaps, radar, timelines and more. This connector gives Claude the library's own reference material at the version it ships, so it writes amCharts 5 code instead of guessing from older versions such as amCharts 4.
What Claude can look up:
- the core rules every chart needs (root, themes, colors, data, disposal) and a reference for each chart family;
- 160+ documentation pages and 1,300+ API reference pages;
- 290+ working examples, each a complete chart to start from;
- 670+ map files (world, continents, countries, regions, US counties and congressional districts) with each file's CDN path and import.
Typical requests: "Make a Sankey diagram of this data with amCharts", "Add a date axis with zoom to my chart", "Show US states colored by value", "Why does my amCharts legend not show?"
All tools are read-only and return text. No account, API key or setup is needed. amCharts 5 is free to use, commercial projects included, as long as the small amCharts logo stays on the chart.
