CloudConvert

CloudConvert connects Claude to the CloudConvert file conversion API. Ask Claude to convert a document, compress a PDF, or turn a video into a GIF, and it runs the job in your CloudConvert account and returns the result.

What you can do:

• Convert files between more than 200 formats, such as DOCX to PDF, PDF to DOCX or Markdown, HEIC to JPG, or MOV to MP4.
• Compress and optimize PDF, PNG, and JPG files.
• Merge files into one PDF, split PDFs into pages, extract or rotate pages, and encrypt or decrypt PDFs.
• Make scanned PDFs searchable with OCR, and convert PDFs to the PDF/A and PDF/X standards.
• Add text or image watermarks to PDFs, images, and videos.
• Capture websites as PDFs or screenshots, and create thumbnails.
• Create ZIP, RAR, 7Z, and TAR archives.
• Read and write file metadata, or run custom FFmpeg and ImageMagick commands.
• Build multi-step jobs, for example batch conversions or exports to S3 and Azure Blob Storage.

Claude can process files from a URL or upload files from its code execution environment. Results are returned as download links that stay valid for 24 hours.

You sign in with your CloudConvert account. Processing files consumes CloudConvert credits, and the connector can show your remaining balance.
