Filmit connects Claude to the editing apps on your computer through the Filmit Studio panel. Ask in plain words and the work happens in your real project: read a timeline and describe it, make a rough cut, cut dead air, add markers, place and trim clips, apply transitions, apply effects and set their parameters, animate with keyframes, import captions, and build lower thirds and motion graphics in After Effects. Claude checks its own work by exporting frames. Every change is an ordinary undo step in your app.
Works with Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve. You need a Filmit account (free works), Filmit Studio installed, and one of those apps open. A free Filmit account includes 50 actions a day; Filmit Pro includes full access, with a 7-day free trial.
