Booqer

Booqer lets you find a local home-service business and book a consult with it without leaving the conversation.

What you can do:

• Find businesses enrolled with Booqer by trade, service, city, county, business name, website, or published phone number.
• See each business's services and booking rules. Booqer doesn't show prices.
• Check which consult times are open on a given day, in the business's time zone.
• Book a consult. When the time is open, the consult is confirmed right away, and you get a confirmation email with a cancel link.
• Ask a business for a quote or a call back using a short form.

Who it's for: homeowners, renters, and property managers who need a local contractor or service company, such as a gate or access-control installer or a pole barn builder.

Limitations:

• Booqer only lists businesses that have enrolled with it. Each one is checked against state business registration records. Coverage is currently Central Florida and is growing. If no enrolled business matches, Booqer says so and doesn't suggest a business that doesn't fit.
• Booqer doesn't quote prices or perform any work. Each business is independent and responsible for its own work.
• Booqer asks for your name, email, an optional phone number, a short description of the job, and the service location only when you book or request a quote, and shares them only with the business you chose, after you agree.
