One question a day. Answer with a link. See what your friends are into.

Breakroom asks everyone the same question each day. Post one song, video, article, place, product, or other link as your answer, with an optional note. Answering unlocks that day and earlier days through your latest answer; days you already unlocked stay available. Questions change at midnight Pacific Time. There is one answer per day and no five-link weekly cap.

In ChatGPT you can:

• Open Breakroom from the sidebar or a conversation panel to see today's question, All or Following answers, Most popular, and earlier days.
• Ask ChatGPT to prepare your answer from a link. Review the preview and optional note; nothing is posted until you press Post.
• Search shared links, with locked content kept private under the same access rules.
• Play supported media, give a cig (a like), comment, follow people, and report content or block accounts.
• Ask “anything new in Breakroom?” or turn on activity notifications in this chat. Real-time delivery requires a supported ChatGPT host; an hourly watch is available only when real-time setup is explicitly unsupported.

Email notifications are separate from ChatGPT activity notifications. In Breakroom Settings you can turn email notifications on or off, choose your time zone, and add or change the notification email using a verification code. Eligible accounts can receive welcome mail, a daily question with a limited recap and recent activity, and an occasional return reminder. Email recaps may show selected excerpts before you answer; full answers in the app remain subject to the access rules. Delivery depends on your preferences, a verified address, and the email service's availability; enabling a ChatGPT watch does not enable email notifications.
