What you can do:
- Search federal and state statutes, regulations, and court rules.
- Search federal and state case law, with jurisdiction and date filters.
- Search indexed EEOC and NLRB administrative decisions.
- Read the full text of a returned authority.
- Inspect a case's citation relationships and available status information.
Results include source links. Links to statutes and cases open in Paxton and require Paxton sign-in. Links to EEOC and NLRB decisions open on the publisher's site.
Who it is for: lawyers, paralegals, and other legal professionals who have a Paxton account with legal research access. Sign in with your existing Paxton account when you connect. Access follows your account and organization permissions.
Limits: the plugin is read-only and covers U.S. law. It searches Paxton's legal research sources. It does not read your private matter files, upload documents, or change any data.
Legal research requires professional review. Search results and citation relationships do not establish that an authority is controlling, current, or sufficient for a legal proposition. A missing status result does not mean an authority is good law.
