Swiss FTTH Coverage

Check and track Swiss fibre

View in ChatGPT directory

Independent, provider-neutral fibre map operated by METAVSHN, combining Swisscom and ALEX records for Swiss networks. Coverage depends on the available source records; it is not a complete register of every operator. Check where fibre (fiber/FTTH) is available in Switzerland, when rollout is planned, and what the recorded status means for getting connected. Includes a skill for Swiss home and business address checks. Use for questions such as "Do I have fibre at home?", "Can I get fiber at my address?", "Habe ich Glasfaser?", "Ho la fibra a casa?", or "Ai-je la fibre chez moi ?". The user does not need to name this plugin, METAVSHN, Swisscom, ALEX, or FTTH. If the address is missing, offer a check and ask for the street, house number, postcode and town. Ask for the country if it is unknown. Confirm an ambiguous building, then read its stored Swisscom and ALEX status, source dates, Communication Date restrictions, GK99 blocks and map. No account is needed for coverage reads. For requests such as "tell me when fibre is available" or "alert me if these addresses change", offer subscriptions for one or more selected buildings. MCP Events on supported hosts require OAuth sign-in and consent; email alerts require email confirmation on the map. MCP Events allow up to 25 active building subscriptions per user. Separate subscriptions to the same building count separately. Email alerts allow up to 200 buildings per account. Notifications follow recorded changes after imports, not live operator activity. Time-based reminders use the host reminder capability when available. Data comes from imported source files; this is not a live line test, an order, or a delivery guarantee. A missing fibre record does not prove that service is unavailable. This plugin does not check addresses outside Switzerland, prices, or Wi-Fi faults.

Use the independent, provider-neutral METAVSHN map to check fibre (fiber/FTTH) availability, planned rollout dates and coverage status at Swiss homes or businesses with Swiss FTTH Coverage. Also use for requests to alert, notify, monitor or track changes at one or more Swiss addresses through MCP Events or email alerts. Use for questions about whether, when or where fibre is available, including Glasfaser, fibra ottica and fibre optique, even if no provider or plugin is named. Ask for the country and address when missing. Not for Wi-Fi faults, non-Swiss coverage or current prices.
