Windshield Weather

Check what the weather will be doing where you will be, when you get there. Windshield Weather forecasts each stretch of a drive at its arrival time, shows the worst conditions and daylight, and lets you compare departure options. You can also check published highway forecasts for now and the next 24 hours, with links to official road-condition services.

No sign-in is required. Name the starting place, destination and departure time; use cities, airports, parks or landmarks rather than street addresses or precise coordinates. Results include a weather card where supported, a complete text answer, data credits and a link to open the same drive in Windshield Weather.

Official weather alerts and Mapbox traffic are attributed separately from forecast severity. Forecasts help you plan before departure; they do not certify road safety or closures or replace official warnings. This version cannot read, save or delete account data, make purchases, or retrieve historical weather observations.
