Vergo

Vergo is practice management software and a legal research library for Icelandic law firms (Vergo Law) and professional services firms (Vergo Core). Claude works as you, with your own permissions in Vergo.

Icelandic and European legal research

• Search Icelandic laws, regulations, judgments at every court level, rulings of authorities and ECHR judgments, by keyword, meaning or cited law.
• Trace citations to a law, article or paragraph, and see which are cited most.
• Read laws as they stood on a given date, with version history since 1995.
• Read full texts, save sources to projects and cite them with links to Vergo.

Practice management

• Projects (mál/verk): find, create and update projects, their parties, labels and comments.
• Time: log and correct hours, fixed fees and expenses, review suggested entries and see unbilled work.
• Tasks, subtasks, court dates and meetings.
• Documents: create documents from the firm's templates and write new templates. Reading project documents is opt-in.
• Signing: send PDFs kept in Vergo or the project's SharePoint folder for signing with Icelandic electronic ID.
• Claims: injury claims under the Tort Damages Act, debt collections and interest calculation with Central Bank rates.
• Contacts: look up clients and opposing parties.

Control and security

• Sign in with your Vergo account (OAuth). Your password is never shared with Claude.
• AI connections are off until an administrator turns them on and chooses what they may do in each area.
• You choose what Claude may do when you connect. Claude confirms changes and asks for a clear yes before sending for signing.
• Claude cannot delete projects, tasks, claims or templates, and writes nothing to SharePoint.
• One connection can cover several of your Vergo companies. Each company's administrators can disconnect it.

Requirements A Vergo account in a company where AI connections are on (Settings > Connections > Company connections).

Works in Icelandic and English.
