Japan Restaurant Calories

Japan Restaurant Calories gives Claude the nutrition facts that Japanese restaurant chains publish (often only as PDFs): calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates and salt for every item, and for some chains vitamins and minerals too. It covers 24,000+ menu items from 100+ chains such as Sukiya, Yoshinoya, McDonald's Japan, MOS Burger, KFC Japan and Saizeriya, and the data is re-collected from the chains' own documents every week.

Tools:

• search_menu: find items by name (Japanese), chain, genre, calorie range or nutrient. Each result includes the item page and the chain's source document.
• sum_items: total a meal, with quantities. Nutrients that a chain does not publish are reported as missing rather than counted as zero.
• list_chains: which chains are covered, which nutrients each one publishes, and when the data was fetched.
• request_missing: tell the operator that a chain or item is missing. Requests are counted anonymously and used to decide what to add next.

Allergen information is intentionally not provided. The site is not affiliated with the chains.
