Keni is an open-source, self-hostable personal finance tracker built for people who want detailed transaction logs without the effort. The Keni MCP server lets any MCP-capable AI agent read and manage your finances directly, using OAuth so you never paste tokens.

- Transactions: create single, batch, or parent-child grouped transactions; list, get, update, and delete them; link and unlink related transactions across wallets.
- Multiple wallets: separate personal, business, travel, or shared money, each with its own currency and history.
- Categories and tags: organize spending with categories and tags; new ones are created on the fly when you log a transaction.
- Recurring transactions: define rules for bills and income that post automatically.
- Budgets: set limits by period, category, or wallet and check how much is used.
