Sign PDF

Get documents signed without leaving Claude.

What you can do:

• Send a PDF, a Google Doc shared by link, or a document Claude writes for you, such as an NDA or a short agreement.
• Have up to five people sign in a set order. You can sign first, or be the only person who signs.
• See the finished document before it goes out.
• Check the status, send a reminder, or get a link to the signed PDF.
• Save a document as a template, and send it again later.

How signing works: Portant emails each signer a private link. They read and sign in a browser, with no account. You get the signed PDF by email, with a signing certificate page. Claude never signs for anyone: every signature comes from a person.

Privacy: Documents are encrypted before they are stored, and the key that opens them is in the private link, not on our servers. Two things are encrypted with our own key instead: templates you save (for a Google Doc, only its link), and the signed copies we store for your account, so you can download them later.

Languages: Emails and signing pages are in English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Italian, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese.
