Wabot connects Claude to your WhatsApp Business numbers through the WhatsApp Cloud API.
Once connected, you can ask Claude to:
- Send an approved WhatsApp template to a customer, with variables filled in from your conversation.
- Reply inside the 24-hour customer-care window with a free-form session message.
- Create a new message template, update it, and check whether Meta has approved it.
- Find or create contacts by phone number.
- List recent WhatsApp chats, read a conversation, and wait for or subscribe to live replies so Claude can tell you the moment a customer answers.
Every action runs on your own Wabot workspace and your own WhatsApp Business numbers. Read-only tools run without confirmation; tools that send messages or change data are marked as write tools and Claude asks before using them.
You sign in with your Wabot email and password (OAuth 2.0). Claude receives a token for the workspace you choose; your password is never shared with Claude or Anthropic, and you can disconnect at any time.
