HomeLantern connects Claude to the signed-in user's rental portfolio through 19 account-scoped tools. Review properties, tenants, leases, documents, tasks, maintenance records, notifications, contractors, and aggregate financial summaries. Governed writes can create and update tasks, mark notifications read, create or update tenant-scoped maintenance requests, and run permitted maintenance workflow commands. Every write requires explicit confirmation and a unique idempotency key, with safe replay behavior. The connector cannot make payments, change rent or financial records, sign or modify leases, delete accounts, invite tenants, or perform administrative operations. Maintenance workflow actions such as requesting bids, assigning a contractor, or confirming a schedule may trigger HomeLantern's normal notifications or handoffs.
