- Evaluate a proposed portfolio transition. Explore the potential tax implications of moving a client's existing holdings into a recommended investment strategy.
- Compare different tax-budget scenarios. Review multiple potential scenarios to understand how different estimated realized capital-gain levels could affect a proposed transition.
- Address appreciated or legacy holdings. Assess how a portfolio with embedded gains may transition toward a new strategy while managing potential tax consequences.
- Prepare for a client conversation. Generate a personalized Tax Transition Proposal to help illustrate transition scenarios for the client. The existing workflow allows the advisor to create a PDF from the results.
- Explore a transition before taking action. Use the proposal to evaluate alternatives before deciding how to proceed. The 55ip MCP generates proposals only; it does not create transactions.
