Keep a private food diary in Claude. Send a photo of your plate or a nutrition label, or describe your meal by text or voice. metri is triggered automatically when you mention food you've eaten. Add any context: grams, links to recipes, delivery-app screenshots. Claude looks up missing info online and saves calories and macros to metri.
Recent studies found that modern LLMs estimate calories with 14–24% error, about as accurate as weighing food on a kitchen scale.
A widget shows today's progress and a full day breakdown, and you can review your diary for any day. metri remembers your previous logs, so you can just say "another slice of the apple pie I baked on Sunday".
metri keeps your diary in its own storage, so nothing is lost when you switch chats or devices.
