Sift Clips

Sift Clips lets Claude search video footage that an editor shared with you: by what's on screen ("wide shot of the crowd at sunset"), by what was said, or by who's in it. Claude can list the footage shared with you, search it, read a clip's transcript and details, look at thumbnails, send the moments you pick back to the editor as Selects with notes, and ask the editor for original files, which the editor decides on.

Sign in with the email the footage was sent to, or straight from a share link's page with Use with your AI. Every share sent to you is included, now and later, as long as its editor allows assistants.

Built to be safe for the people whose footage it is: Claude only ever gets small copies, transcripts and thumbnails, never the original files. Each share's usage terms come with every answer. Editors see who connected and everything their assistants searched, and can remove access at any time. Sending picks or requests to the editor always needs your go-ahead in Claude.

Sift Clips is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that searches an editor's whole footage library on their own computer; this connector is for the people they share footage with. Editors can also connect their own library to Claude from the Sift app.
